Chairman, CEO and Co-founder
Mr. Gandhi is a long standing international veteran of the technology industry, with more than three decades experience across innovations in semiconductors, communications, computing, software, ecommerce, printing, languages, multimedia, and security. His entrepreneurial journey began in instrumentation where he developed tools in measurement and built the corresponding computers for industrial applications. During the 80s and 90s, Mr Gandhi pioneered Apple's business by forming multiple subsidiaries, joint ventures, manufacturing, research partnerships, and establishing an extensive reseller network in Asia.
Mr Gandhi thrives in bringing together pioneers of industry and business experts to make advances in technology commercial. This has been proven in numerous market exits, including: Selling software integral to the formation of Apple's languages in 1986, the creation of an early iteration of ecommerce in the late 90s, and monetising the viral character Crazy Frog through video games where he successfully exited in 2007.
He is an advisor to government and industry in technology, and an advocate of free global trade. He has worked closely with numerous industry organisations and chambers of commerce in the US, Asia, and Europe.
Mr. Petzel is the Managing Partner of Eldon Capital, an investment and advisory firm focused on international growth investments and buy-out opportunities. Prior to launching Eldon, he was a Managing Director in the Merchant Banking Division of Goldman Sachs, ultimately responsible for private credit in Germany and Scandinavia.
Whilst at Goldman has served on the board of several successful companies including Cognis GmbH, a worldwide supplier of specialty chemicals and nutritional ingredients, up to its sale to BASF for â‚¬3.1bn in 2010. Mr. Petzel commenced his career as a consultant to the technology sector for McKinsey & Company working in the United States, Europe and Asia.
He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master of Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and was a Visiting Scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Mark came to Xelba, having been working during 2018 for his own consulting firm, Chainview Consulting, running successful projects with Global logistics and FMCG businesses to support commercial change and product development programs.
Having previously spent 14 years with DHL, finally as Chief Customer Officer for DHL Supply Chain UK & Ireland, Mark was responsible for the development of strategic customer relationships to drive both commercial growth and business retention. Heading up over 100 sales and account managers across all sectors and industries, Mark also lead the company’s customer experience, marketing and innovation agendas
Prior to 2004, he worked for Accenture in the UK & Australia as a Management Consultant focused on re-engineering the commercial and physical components of various companies inbound supply chains, for 5 years working for Invensys as the Global Commodity Manager for Logistics and Packaging, spending much of that time in the US, and a further 4 years working in various general management and supply chain change roles for Electrolux across Europe.
Mark has held various Directorships and been a Trustee of a Charity over the past 10 years, lectures at Warwick University, and has been working with a Start Accelerator in London for the past 4 years, helping with pitch clinics and value proposition development.
Throughout his career Mark has led and implemented strategic change programs, large commercial bids, organisational design and change and the commercial re-engineering of customer relationships. His move into Xelba is a continuation of his developing interest in new technologies fostered during his time in DHL, with a particular focus on IoT, Blockchain, Robotics and Data Analytics.
Damien is considered a pioneer in mobile and digital services. Offering over 35 years' experience at senior and executive levels with some of the world's leading blue chip companies (IBM, Ericsson Hutchison, Nokia, AEVI), he has extensive experience in the management of telecom, payments, digital media, technology and business services.
From cutting his teeth in the embryonic mobile data business in the 1990's with IBM, to driving highly transactional global application and media businesses with Nokia and AEVI, he has grown and managed many businesses from concept to global operations driving revenues of hundreds of millions.
Alex has been working as a Sales Executive for more than 18 years, performing exceedingly well in both retail and B2B settings.
Having developed a passion for sales during his formative years working in a mobile phone store, Alex soon thrived, achieving internally top positions in sales competitions nationally. Following this, Alex joined one of the UK’s leading furniture retailers where he quickly became a top performer, and earned a certificate of excellence based on sales results and service.
During his career, Alex has proven this passion time and time again, and even more amplified when he moved into the technology sector where he worked with the likes of EE, Microsoft, Vodafone, and BT Group.
Product Director and Co-founder
A software developer with more than 10 years' experience across a number of industries, Roberto has previously worked as Head of Development and CTO for Sedit, Farweb and Tom - where he specialised in embedded systems.
Holding a Bachelor of Communication Science, Honours in Communication Marketing and Masters in Communication and Multimedia from the University of Bari, Roberto has extensive experience in leading teams; one project saw him head up a project to build a bespoke tracking and management application for the EU that manages tenders within the printing industry.
Creative Director and Co-founder
Award winning, multi-disciplined product designer and creative director, Ben has worked with many start-ups and SMEs to create and curate their product visions. He has also been involved in successfully supporting a number of fundraising rounds.
Previously, Ben worked on Hawk's Safety solution 'Monitor', which won gold in the What's in Store for Smart Kitchen Tech category at the 2016 Food Talk Awards. His product, 'Heat' was also a finalist in the British Hospitality Association's Hotelympia Innovation Awards in 2016.
Programme and Operations Manager
Marco has 20+ years' experience in programme and project management, R&D coordination and business management for highly specialised industrial automation solutions applied to several manufacturing industries.
He has a solid technical background, a complete understanding of design and implementation of automatic control systems for industrial processes and machinery, from small stand-alone solutions to complex and layered projects involving the interaction of different technologies, and extensive experience of operations in worldwide markets.
He launched and developed a successful start-up specialised in industrial automation solutions and managed one of the leading European players for automatic control system applied to the concrete and building materials industries.
Lead development engineer
Stefan has 15+ years experience in hardware and firmware development. Holding a Bachelor Degree of Communication Technologies from the Technical University in Sofia, he has a solid theoretical and practical understanding of the different modern communication technologies and protocols.
Specialising in the design of smart and uncomplicated control and monitoring solutions, he has developed several global applicable systems for Vending and Lightning industries, one of which has been granted a patent.
Miranda is an administration associate / PA at Xelba, who works very closely with the Chairman of the business. She is a very organised person with a very good professional ethics and a can-do attitude, and always eager to learn new skills. She has over three years worth of industry experience within the administrative sector. Prior to it, she graduated from Coventry University as a MBA in International Fashion Management. She is a strong believer in the bright future of IoT. Miranda enjoys encouraging and supporting people at work. “Keep calm and carry on” is her general motto in life.
Channel Support Associate
Lukasz has been working in the Food Industry for more than 10 years. From working for Pizza Express, and then Bartlett Mitchell, Lukasz is highly experienced in staff management and training, as well as project development from his experience in opening new branches.
While working for Hawk Safety, Lukasz was able to develop skills as a provider of health and safety management, and HACCP compliance recording and monitoring solutions within the food industry, preparing himself for his role at xelba.
By joining xelba, Lukasz made a lateral move into the technology industry, where he now provides client support – often in complex environments – whilst working alongside the xelba engineers to ensure that the feedback from clients is constantly reflected in the product.
